Cadmus sits by the fireplace, surrounded by festive decorations. The townspeople cheer outside. As Cadmus reflects, a mysterious figure lingers in his thoughts.
CADMUS (inner monologue)
(looking around)
What have I done? Friends, foes... there's someone elusive in my memories.
EXT. TOWN SQUARE - CONTINUOUS
Suddenly, an ice dragon descends, shattering the Christmas joy. Cadmus, without hesitation, charges towards the dragon, ready for battle.

INT. MOUNT OLYMPUS - NIGHT
Ares, exhausted from battling giants, observes the mortal world. Christmas preparations catch his attention. Intrigued, he contemplates the unity among humans.
ARES (to himself)
(musing)
Peace... resolution. What lies beyond war? There's a figure from my past...
EXT. TOWN - CONTINUOUS
An ice dragon descends upon the town. Ares, drawn to the conflict, descends, prepared to confront the dragon.

EXT. TOWN SQUARE - NIGHT
Cadmus and Ares, former enemies, now allies, face the relentless ice dragon. Their attacks prove futile, armor cracking, sword chipping away.
CADMUS
(to Ares)
We wouldn't be able to keep this up any longer! We are no match for the dragon in our current state!
Just as Cadmus was thinking of a plan, his sword shattered completely after striking against the hide of the dragon. At the same time, Ares was swept away, crashing into a giant boulder, shattering his armor completely.
All hopes seem to be lost for them.

EXT. TOWN SQUARE - NIGHT
Snowflakes began to fall on their broken weapon and armor, each carrying a shimmer of Christmas magic.
As the snowflakes land on the fractured remnants, they begin to swirl and fuse them together. The shards of the sword attract, the armor pieces levitate, combining to form an ornate and powerful artifact.
Enveloped in radiant Christmas magic, the artifact hovers momentarily before unleashing a powerful blast of energy, destroying the dragon.
As the dust settles, they place the artifact atop the Christmas tree, acting as a charm to protect the town.
The unlikely duo shares a nod as peace is restored. | | |
