Shipping Details

EFFECT AUDIO warrants our hardware product against defects in materials and workmanship for ONE (1) YEAR from the date product is received. EFFECT AUDIO is not responsible for the shipping cost to and from unless the product is dead on arrival (with proof).

To avoid bearing the shipping fees, customers must inform EFFECT AUDIO of any issues upon receiving the product within fourteen (14) days. After fourteen (14) days, customers will bear the shipping cost back to EFFECT AUDIO.

Upon receiving the replaced or repaired product, the product assumes the remaining warranty of the original product or thirty (30) days from the date of replacement or repair, whichever provides longer coverage for the customer, unless stated otherwise.

During this coverage period, the customer will not bear the shipping fees.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

Effect Audio is a business legally registered in Singapore. Our online store is operated from Singapore and our primary governing law is the law of Singapore.

By checking out, both local and international customers agree to our Terms and Conditions, including this refund policy.

When refunds are not available

We do not provide refunds or cancellations for reasons that are not protected under Singapore consumer law and are not caused by any fault on our side. These include:

• The customer changes their mind after placing the order
• The customer selects or purchases the wrong item by mistake
• The customer decides to obtain the product elsewhere after the order is completed
• The customer wishes to cancel because their personal preferences or circumstances have changed, such as deciding they no longer want or need the item

These situations are not protected by consumer law in Singapore.

However, we understand that circumstances can arise unexpectedly. In such cases, we may choose, purely as a customer service gesture and entirely at our sole discretion, to assist on a case by case basis. This assistance may include options such as order changes, store credit or partial refunds. Any such assistance is voluntary, not guaranteed, and does not create any ongoing obligation for us to do so in future cases.

When refunds or replacements are provided

In accordance with Singapore consumer protection principles, we will provide a refund or a replacement when the issue arises from our side. These situations include:


• A faulty or defective product received
• An incorrect item shipped
• The order does not arrive due to our processing or logistics error
• We are unable to fulfil the order

Where one of the above situations applies, we will either:
• provide a replacement item of the same model or equivalent value, or
• issue a refund, usually to the original method of payment, within a reasonable processing time after the issue is confirmed.

How to request support

If you believe your order qualifies for a refund or replacement based on the above, please contact us with your order number and proof of the issue. We will review and resolve it according to this policy.

Repair Cost Details

Within the warranty period,

If a defect exists, at its option EFFECT AUDIO will

(1) Repair the product at no charge, using new parts,

(2) Exchange the product with a product that is new or which has been manufactured from new or serviceable used parts and is at least functionally equivalent to the original product. Unless otherwise mentioned, a replacement product/part assumes the remaining warranty of the original product or thirty (30) days from the date of replacement or repair, whichever provides longer coverage for you.

The warranty will only cover repair costs due to defects and not issues resulting from any man-made damage. Customers will be responsible for repairs costs if the technician determines that the issue is caused by man-made damage rather than defect.

The warranty will not cover repair costs for EFFECT AUDIO Cables that have been modified.
